Built up on the hevily regarded Hydra 32h system hub and spoke chassis, TR285 features a 28.5mm inner width rim with a hollow bead wall for increased pinch flat protection and better impact resistance than our previous Trail rims. Meaning you can ride harder without worrying about damaging your tire or rim and you can take bigger, steeper lines on burlier terrain.
The Hydra drive mechanism ensures you have maximum control in the tech by way of our insanely fast .52° freehub engagement, allowing you to maintain pressure and make micro-adjustments on switchbacks, step-ups or any other crux that keeps you from cleaning those tricky moves.
