SRAM Red has been fully revamped while maintaining the intuitive interface you know and love it for. Redesign hood/ lever shape deliver a perfect fit for riders with any size palm. Bonus buttons on top of the hood that allow for control of the included Hammerhead Karoo CPU or managing shifting duties.
An overhauled lever design provides more power while giving a very large range to fit different hand/finger length. One-finger braking from anywhere, with less effort. RED brakes require 80% less effort than before when braking from the hoods, and 33% less effort from the drops. More power, less hand fatigue!
Shifting is faster and more accurate than ever with specifically with a focus on the front derailleur. Smooth shifting is a dream, but is even better when the group is quiet. Luckily the Orbit damper in the RED AXS rear derailleur keeps tension on the chain no matter how bumpy it gets. They’ve somehow shaved off even more weight, making it the lightest electronic group available.
