About the Build

It’s not everyday that we get to build purebred cross-country bikes, let-alone hardtails like this rocketship. Scott’s Scale is the perfect platform for weekend warrior hotlaps and Strava segment hunting. This rider came to us wanting just that. Frame-up builds get up there quick so we got creative. We chose the entry level carbon offering and just stripped everything off except for the cockpit.

Kashima coating on the Fox Factory 32 SC brings a warm pop to the understated graphics of the frame. Complimented perfectly by natural colored Pirelli Scorpion XC R and XC M tires. Hayes Dominion A4 brakes stop on a dime while being insanely light weight for the power. Speaking of light, OneUp V3 Dropper is a no compromise light weight dropper that has super low stack measurements to squeeze in every millimeter of drop paired to a vibrant purple Wolftooth ReMote Pro. Sram AXS Transmission keeps the wheels moving on the climbs with 165mm Quarq power-enabled XO cranks for ground clearance on technical terrain and ultimate pedaling efficiency and biomechanics.
