Here’s a wheelset that’s a bit different from what we normally do. Onyx hubs made a name for themselves in the bmx racing world and have been gaining popularity in the mtb scene especially with their release of the vesper model. A sprag clutch provides instant engagement while being completely silent. That’s right, all you hear are your tires skipping across the rocks!
We used Sapim spokes and laced the hubs up to NOBL TR 37 rims. They have a front/rear specific design to achieve the ultimate level of compliance/ stiffness. A reinforced area around where the nipple makes contact with the rim provides extra strength and gives it a really unique look!
