We love custom bikes. We can’t say it enough, they are fun to piece together and build up. So the headline kinda gives it away, no foreshadowing here. The goal of this bike is build a comfortable road bike and to make it black and yellow. The chassis is a Gunnar roadie with a steel fork in gunnar yellow. Shout out to Gunnar for delivering the frame a week early. Thanks to Sram for offering the best group possible… Sram Red in limited edition yellow got the call followed by an in house hand built wheel set featuring Dt swiss 340 hubs laced to Velocity A23 rims using Dt swiss black competition spokes, and sram skewers wrapped in continentals gp4000s. Chris King makes an appearance for the headset and bb, both of these are no brainers, completely serviceable and made in the USA. Deda Zero handlebars are a personal favorite, they offer a nice curve and oval shaped tops, very comportable! A Thomson x2 stem tied the front end together. The seatpost is a ritchey pro, their set back post has a good look. Contact points go to Fizik airone and fizik microtex tape.
